About the Fuel Cap Adapter Set

The Fuel Cap Adapter Set contains ten custom designed gas cap adapters that cover most domestic and foreign vehicle fuel caps. Each adapter is made of solid aluminum with a color coded boot for easy identification and vehicle matching.

Using the Look-up Table

The Vehicle Specific Look-up Table has been extensively researched to provide a comprehensive listing of domestic and foreign made vehicles and give a matching color coded retainer that can be used in testing the fuel cap of each listed vehicle. A list of each adapter in the Fuel Cap Adapter Set, its identifying color and its description follows.

To identify the fuel cap adapter needed for the vehicle being tested, simply look up the make of the vehicle in the Table of Contents in the front of the manual, go to the page given and locate the model of the vehicle in question. Use the color code adapter listed for a match with said vehicle.
